Is There One True Correct Religion?

Are Judaism, Islam and Christianity the same because we believe in a God, the Father?

I get this argument often that they are the same. They are not the same at all, though. There is only one God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Buddha is an example of the idols.

Yes, God created me. However, the Bible says there is only one God, and that is what I believe. People are capable of making radical changes to their attitudes and behavior without God. People employ those tactics, and I do not resent that if done properly. However, I cannot and will not accept that there is more than one God, since I would not believe in God, then. Christians have to reject all other gods, or they reject the heart of Christianity.

No, their’s is not my God. I am subservient to Him, not merged. I, nor anyone else, is merged with Him except Jesus who came to earth as God in the flesh. All others are subservient to Him whether we like it or not, according to the Bible which I believe.

The three religions do not coexist. The Bible is clear that the only path is Jesus. Both of those books totally contradict Christianity in some components. The Torah does not include Jesus, so I disregard it myself. The Quran tells its followers to kill all others, so I disregard it, and I think everyone should disregard that type of command (along with other reasons).

While I believe the Bible is 100% correct, the Quran is not a book of that caliber, in my opinion anyway.

However, the unspoken commandment does seem an oxymoron, doesn’t it? I think that was intended to imply more anyway. No one here is pushing anyone to believe Christianity. Only the individual can choose Jesus or not. Yes, I am convinced that that is the only logical choice. Actually, it seems to me that, if anything, it is the other way around that people are pushing their beliefs. I will do that if I think it is welcome, but I prefer what I perceive to be neutral ground unless there is honest seeking. I see no point in arguing just for the sake of argument.

If anyone is saying different religions are the flip sides of the coin or the apples and oranges, then the Bible says that is false, even idol worship in most cases. The Torah is a unique case, though, since I do believe the Old Testament to be 100% correct, just an incomplete work.

The Bible clearly states that worshipping idols is a sin. The Bible says that we can have no other gods before Him. There is no oneness in Christianity with Mohammad, Buddha or any other ‘whatever these guys are called’.
Christianity is simply total belief in the major translations of the Holy Bible, nothing less. That is the only starting point. Without knowing what it is, people just guess and read internet stuff for their direction. The Bible is the one and only source. Then, the Holy Spirit goes to work in us.

Jesus is not the same as other people, I don’t care who you pick – Mohammad, Buddha, you, or any other person.

The Bible could not be more different than the Quran, for example. Mohammad actually commands this day for all Muslims to kill all infidels. All Christians are the death target of all loyal and fundamental Muslims. Jesus said that He came to fulfill the law, not to abolish it. The law, which He repeated is “thou shalt not kill.” You need to study these religions to know.

There is not any other scenario in Christianity than that Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are one God. Mohammad and Buddha are simply false prophets. It is repulsive to hear the total lies that are being spread about what Christianity is in many places on the internet.

John 6:14 said, “Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” That is a pivotal concept of the Bible that hinges all other verses.

No, not Buddha or Mohammad, and no they cannot be the path if Jesus is the only path. That is either your path or not.

The other religions are false! You The Bible totally prohibits buffet Christianity. Those, who do it, face what appears to me to be a very horrible judgment day, particularly those who go public with that. That is misleading those who are potential seekers. The Bible ends with this very warning,

“I testify to the one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.”

So, I warn of that. If you wonder if God means business, here is one of many examples that say you will be burned in hell if you go astray. “But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”

It is about obedience to God only for a Christian. Nothing, that is right nothing I repeat, takes precedent over each person’s walk with the Lord.

Luke 18:29 said it this way, “Then Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, there is no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of God’s kingdom who will not receive many times more in this age – and in the age to come, eternal life.”

My point is that we cannot create our own version of the teachings of the major religions. They are points of record for those who study them. There is no rectifying one religion to another.
